Suggestions

Narration could be implemented for some or all tutorial text elements. For implementation, next to where the text is, I imagine there could be a speaker with a button in the style of the other tech like Howard and the audio could probably be tweaked so it sounds like it's coming out of an older, less-than-crisp speaker. Having narration may help those who may have difficulty reading for one reason or another. Thank you for your consideration. ^_^

There are many shiftstones that cannot be used until you have a certain ability. These should be unlocked when you get said ability. For example Volatile only wheb you get explode

I know there is a mod that does this already, but considering the game will be coming to standalone devises in the future, it would definitely be a good feature since they won't have access to mods. Looking back, I definitely learned more about WHERE I could place my hands (and how much wiggle room there is) from other players, and HOW to have my hands from the (current) ghost poses. I don't know if this is something already in the works, but I can say that something like this would've helped a lot when it came to learning what I could and couldn't get away with. And I imagine it would be a button/lever that toggles it ON/OFF.

'brought up the idea of fist bumping after fighting Howard and it was suggested something that new players could be required to fist bump Howard to complete the tutorial, possibly gaining 5 gear coins and introducing that mechanic

A full person in front of you like a mirror guide that does the moves at a slow enough speed to follow so that you can see exactly how to do them. If the pose has MORE THAN ONE PART, like the structures, then there would be little moving arrows that move around the hands to EMPHASIZE the importance of the rotation! If the pose only has ONE PART, like the modifiers, then it would just be still without an animation. Putting small text descriptions beside the figure like "palm up, fingers forwards" would also be good for clarity!

It would make it easier and more fun to teach new people the game and it doesn't seem too difficult to implement.

I've noticed that new players only get exposed to comboing by watching content or from friendly opponents. Would be good if there was a short tutorial for comboing like there is for new white belts learning the initial moves (maybe when they learn uppercut?). Would also be nice if the ghost hands move tutor supported comboing, like if the hands transitions from uppercut>punch like they do for structure starting position to end position. Not sure the best way to implement this given Rumble's physical menu interaction, but even just another move tutor page with a few common combos to get new players thinking about them would help prepare new players.

The ghost hands are looking in to the training area. But a disc will push the player backwards. If you are training to do the move without the ghost, then 3 discs in a row pushes you out of the dirt onto metal/wood. At this point the moves stop working. As disc is an early move a new person doesn't know why their moves stop working and they think its a pose issue when its not being ground and on dirt issue. Solution: Rotate ghost hands 180 degrees so your back is towards the middle of the dirt. Or else redesign the area so that you can't go up and out unintentionally.

I frequently see newer players commonly get tripped up on the starter-pose. And yes, it is a thing in the poses for structures, but the ghost for it moves to the next pose when you hit it. Having a static, solo starter-pose pose-ghost would help players become more aware of where the starter pose position is quicker.

There are players that join the game, try to look for the settings right away, and immediately notice how slow they move. The first thing I do in any new game usually is checking the settings. If you don't move the settings, perhaps move the player to the settings after doing the T-pose, until a toggle is changed to spawn at the circle on next load. I worry we're losing some people as soon as they start because of this. It's not explained until they ask in the discord or on steam. If nothing else, a nice big arrow that says "SETTINGS" on/above it to guide them might be enough for now. (once again would be toggled off (likely the same as the "tool tips" toggle))
