Interactive usermade tutorial

The current ingame tutorial is not good enough, on it's own it often creates some confusion. And some is text based, while reading in VR is not something most people like to do. We need an interactive and engaging tutorial that kind of works in a similar way as the players ingame help beginners right now. And since there is so much to learn in RUMBLE, we need to crowdsource it. The devs make the tutorial system, That the players use to publish tutorials.
oreotrollturbo is working on a mod that can could be the ultimate solution for ingame RUMBLE tutorials. But the problem is that this is a mod, those that need a tutorial the most, absolute beginners, wont be installing mods and will miss the amazing tutorial resource...
I think this concept is so amazing that it needs to become an actual official feature in RUMBLE. And oreo is going to make it very easy for the devs to figure out how to implement it.
Check this video for oreo's first concept:
The way the mod is going to work:
- Using the already existing clone bending mod as it's basis.
- You can record your movements, poses and voice.
- This recording can be played back interactively. You can walk around it to study the poses from any angle. Or use the recorded attacks for training your defenses.
- It will be used in a custom map where you have a library of recordings to select from.
- More features to be added later after release of the mod.
Follow this thread in the modding discord to stay up to date for the mod:
My suggestions to make this an absolutely amazing feature, no matter if it stays a mod, or becomes an official feature:
- When submitting your recording to the library you can add various tags so people can easily find the ones they want: Whitebelt, flight, pose optimization, expert techniques, etc.
- Upvote system to mark tutorials as useful.
- Various ways to filter the tutorials to find the one you want, search by creator, filters, sort by popularity or date, etc.
- Some base tutorials and popular ones are going to be added to the base game and offline available. Others will be loaded from the server.

The main issue I see is that you will have to moderate the uploaded tutorials. I know that most people will be really helpful with it but I fully expect especially once it is on quest for some weird stuff to show up if it is built into the game and you can post to it from the start with no restrictions
Otherwise, I love the idea. Passing on the info natively in game sounds great for those who don't join the discords or are too new to know about mods

SDRAWKCABMIAY Maybe it could be limited to having at least 1000BP to start recording them to ensure those that make them have at least some base knowledge and have been in the community for a bit longer.
And with an upvote system you are guaranteed to find at least good ones at the top.
But a moderation system might indeed be needed...
Although I do expect some memes getting in it and even getting upvoted. Like a recreation of the Shia LaBeouf "Just Do It" or something like that. And those even when not serious in being helpful would still be welcome to me.

Musical-Memoirs if there is a mandatory tag system than that would be great. You could have a "serious" tag for anything that doesn't fit in the other tag categories and a "meme" tag or something similar for things that are just fun to have in there but aren't actually helpful.
Whoever has moderator powers could just change the tags of the unserious ones so that they don't get in people's way when looking for serious tutorials... maybe it could just be a "not a tutorial" tag

SDRAWKCABMIAY I personally think that if a team of tutorial-makers, similar to teachers in rkai, were approved by buckethead, then that would solve a lot of the moderation issue. ofc, that does kind of take away the community aspect of it, instead relegating it to only OGs, but that might be a sacrifice needed for the first few weeks/months to work out kinks.

ContagiousPow Could be a decent solution for the first version of this. Maybe give beta access to trusted players, so they can make the first few tutorials. Then it can launch the update with those tutorials included as an example.
