Shift stone that rewards aerial attacks

My idea is a shift stone that increases damage by one while you're in the air and lingers on landing for half the amount of time you spent in the air capped to some number of seconds. maybe 3 or 5

IMO an aerial stone would be better done like -1 damage taken and better mobility in the air
Weather that be with being able to shift all momentum to a different direction idk
But the problem with aerial play isn’t the reward, you can easily melt health bars after a flick hit
The issue is the risk needed for that reward, I personally am not a fan of the damage reduction stones but I can see their place in the games balance. I would rather the stone give more options to avoid getting hit than dampening the punish your opponent earned
Maybe it could just be that flick has a stronger pull along with the other mobility option to add to your tool kit
overall I would love to see an in depth aerial stone that isnt just stat buffs, surge and adamant are good enough at that and guard is weak sure but it has interesting tech. While stubborn... ;m;

Pompyy Boosting the reward for that risk is one way to make the risk more worth it when it pays off though. Plus, "bonus when in air" benefits more than just flick and includes bonuses for jump-flow strafing mobility, air lobs, jump attacks with modifiers, and hold flight.

"In the air" seems like it would need to be tuned to not be triggered on leaving the ground a tiny bit with things like mojo dashes and such, but perhaps that is covered by the lingering buff scaling off of how long you were in the air so that it would be small enough time that it doesn't matter too much. Besides that, I don't see much of an issue with this idea.
