The current situation with the charge stone, is that the charge stone can be used on non-held structures. However, this has created a new mechanic called "Chambering" which involves charging a structure to use the effect on a different structure instead

So, the new suggestion is to reword the description so that the charge stone charges the player instead of the structure.
"Using Hold on a structure for longer than one second will increase the potency of the next force modifier applied to a structure, modifiers such as Straight and Kick" - EnderVlad's suggestion
To make this clear, the particle system for charge could be reworked to be primarily focused around the player instead of the structure. A couple community suggestions are:
- Yellow particles swirling around the player after the second - like surge or adamant except yellow
- Yellow circles around the player's fists - Moving the charge effect to the player's fists
- Yellow particles that originate from a structure and flow into a player for the duration of the second it is being charged
By doing this, hopefully not too much mechanic code should need to be changed, and RUMBLE players can keep our precious chambering

According to @shoeless_man the developer's opinion on chambering is as follows. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)
- Chambering is an Unintended Bug
- Chambering was not the intent/design of the Charge Stone.
- Chambering is not being removed for being overpowered.
A Case For Chambering: (@ me here to add anything else)
- From the perspective of the community Chambering is discovered tech akin to Flight.
- Much Research has already been done on chambering and continues to be explored
- Even if chambering is not intended, it is not broken/game game-breaking and can be reworded or have visual changes.
- Any criticism of charge stone is directed towards the original usage of charge stone, but not towards chambering.
- Chambering is not overpowered, can be countered with explode and the community welcomes it.
- Charge without Chambering Limits it
- Chambering Allows Charge Stone To be used defensively by hitting oncoming structures to stop them
- Gameplay Without Chambering would devolve to slingshot (Hold/Straight) at most.
- There are ways to move structures faster and farther than a charge stone slingshot, so chambering allows charge stone to be viable
- Without Chambering, Charge should could be the 2nd worst stone after guard. (theoretically)
- Chambering Cuts away already established gameplay and work done by the community.
- Interesting Mechanics help promote and bring in new players to the game. Removing these aspects of the game could limit its growth
- Shoeless's Flick Videos brought an influx of players that otherwise wouldn't have bought the game.
- Bivn's Videos and Streams on Volatile Tech achieves a similar effect
- Charge Stone Has the same potential with chambering.
- If chambering, a bug that expands what is possible, without breaking gameplay, the possibility of removal for other "bugs" become a concern.
(e.g. Railgun, Parry Stasis, Structure locking...)
- Chambering is one of 3 current Creative Playstyles (Flick, Volatile, Charge), and removing chambering reduces playstyle diversity.
- Creativity of the given tools given in the game is the foundation and core of RUMBLE.
- Chambering as a playstyle.
- The Point of Charge stone is to be patient and try to keep a held structure alive, Chambering plays into this gameplay.
- Chambering allows for more skill expression, either through fakes, structure bumping, ect.
Chambering/Charge Alternatives
- Changing Charge Stones Animation Rework
- Making an aura around the player instead of the held structure (Like Surge/Adamant)
- Making an aura around the hands of the player
- @Terratik: Boost Stone: A Stone that destroys a structure on a pose, and boosts your next hit modifier proportional to the destroyed Structure
- @Rev: Store Stone: A Stone that on parry, would store the net force (weight and velocity) of the parried structure, and would add the net force onto the next hit modifier
- Splitting Charge stone into two stones so that chambering would be possible with both equipped.
- Allowing Charge to a held structure to be done to multiple held structures individually.
- A Nerf of Charge Stone's Strength.
Developers, I implore you to keep chambering into the game. The community has done a lot of work expanding what is possible with the charge stone and increases both playstyle diversity and skill expression with charge. I hope this post will help in showing how important chambering is to the community. I ask for your understanding and appreciate how open as game developers your team has been to the community.
