I think it'd be fun/amusing/rather satisfying if there was some kind of panel or an obviously different colored metal plate on the side of the matchmaking machine that when you slam your fist against it, it made a satisfying metallic impact sound and fully canceled matchmaking and/or reset the matchmaking machine. To keep someone from spamming reset and possibly breaking something, I imagine it could only reset once every so often, but perhaps slamming your fist against it could still make the satisfying sound and perhaps a different sound or series of sounds could play from the machine when matchmaking resets. To clarify what hitting the panel does, perhaps one or more post-it notes stuck on or near the panel could be added.
