dash by itself is a great move when you need to make some distance, but often I have the problem of having to wait for dash to be over for me to do my next move and if I don't then anything you spawn or touch ends up hurting you. so I was thinking that it would be great if you could stop your momentum, for the pose I was just thinking of using the dash pose, but instead of the forward hand palm face left you'd have it face forward. you could even use it to dampen knock back if you wanted.
