GROUND POUND / DIVE

We need a way to quickly slam back into the ground to remove the predictability of Dash>Jump! This would also be great for if you got knocked into the air and quickly need to get back down and it could even have a sort of SHOCKWAVE when you hit the ground that would unground stuff or knock it back a bit!

My idea was to make stomp, or ground to have you send downwards into the ground and maybe empower iron boots to go straight through objects until you're solidly feet on the ground, but with no slam effect just a return me to the earth.
But seeing the ideas behind making it a seperate move, biomechanically I think an inverted jump pose would make a lot of sense? New moves/poses is something they said they wanted to add, and that would be easy to learn and not interrupt the bits of air tech that use stomp while flying.
You could have it also be that very simple concept of (This puts you on the ground/through rocks)
It could be jazzed up to do more, or have an impact when crashing or something but it also doesn't need to be to diversify move sets in my opinion.
But some option to go down seems pretty agreed on as a good idea

I believe that it would be a good idea to add a Shiftstone for this and add a new move too that causes you to Dive down with this move, I would call it Slam where you start in the cube end position and move your arms down palms facing inwards. so then you would use the Slam as a ground pound with the stone.

and you can add my move idea sink from steam witch will let you move under the earth at the cost of sight or mybe you could send a object underground and on useage it would pop up again when used on the ground of couse oh ya i like this

it could use the same or similar hand positions as stomp does.
this way your hands are allready near the position where you summon all of the structures and can more easily make a wall or a pillar if you need to protect yourself.

CP0ZH3ZK7355: true, I have never tried stomping something up in the air either so it could be a great way to reduce the number of poses without conflict!
EDIT SINCE THIS WAS 4 MONTHS AGO: flight is a thing and I stomp in the air all the time now haha keep stomp separate lol
