Accessibility: One handed Rumble

One of our players in the Rumble community is going to have a temporary disability where they can't use 1 of their arms. That sparked a discussion on a potential one handed accessibility feature. In my opinion it needs to be good enough that someone can actually play Rumble as a pose based game without changing any of the poses, while being limited enough that such a feature can never be abused by normal players. This is the suggestion I came up with:
- You could make it that in 1 arm mode you only need 1 controller (selectable before the T pose), while the position of the other controller will not be tracked in game.
- All hand movements are mirrored for both hands. Poses like base pose and spawning walls, cubes, parry, explode, guard and stomp would work amazing for that.
- When you hold the trigger: The mirrored arm stays in place where it was when you pressed the trigger, only the actual arm you are using will match your movements. At release it will be mirrored again.
Would make it quite easy to go from base pose (hold button) into a dash, jump or dash-jump. And allows for easy straight/kick/uppercut combos as you only need to bring your hand to your shoulder once, hold the button and then can do all 3 poses. With poses like spawning a pillar it would basically change from a 2 pose move to a 3 pose move where you can mirror your off-hand in between the 2 poses.
Some moves like flick and sprint would not be possible. But those 2 can be substituted in most cases with hold and dash. And while you can use a disk, it will probebly be extremely hard to do a disk-straight (not impossible though). So sadly it will be limiting some moves, but there is still a lot you could do. I have been imaging myself using such a feature and I feel like as an experienced player I could still easily win against a beginning black belt with minimal training to get used to this.
Hope this might be considered for the future.

For accessibility to players who can only actively move one hand, I propose an option to swap stick turn for offhand gesture control, according to the attached diagram. Players with one-handed gesture would control movement with their offhand thumbstick, dominant hand movement as normal, and offhand movement with the dominant thumbstick.
