You can manipulate your position by sticking your arms out and wiggling your smooth turn left and right

Title, but this allows you to do some genuinely game breaking things, like phasing through structures by spam dashing and flying back up the side of the ring, referred to as "arm tech". It works because the smooth turn makes you turn around your hand.

An opponent has used this in a tournament fight against me to get back into the ring after being knocked off. I personally don't care much about my own tournament results, I just like to have fun and it felt funny in the moment, so I just let it go. But it did feel unfair, like they cheated in an extra life.
While the tech could be funny to mess around with, it's abilities don't feel fitting to the RUMBLE theme at all. So I personally would like to see it completely fixed.

No curse you, let us have funny tech.
But seriously I can understand if it gets patched cause of some of it's gamebreaking aspects.
Phasing is extremely easy using arm tech which I personally don't think is an issue since if anything happens to the structure while you're inside of it, you still take damage.
Using arm tech to move in the air is something I personally try to avoid using and it is one of the mechanics I'd be fine with being gone.
Now technically this can even the playing field between people with large playspaces and people with smaller ones cause you don't have to physically move to save yourself anymore. But at the same time arm tech has a major issue I'll get into later.
Terrain boosting (debated name) is the act of using the gray rocks on the side of the ring to propel yourself upward. The technique itself is very consistent and can be mastered. The variation in height from the boost can at the very least be understood (as with all things rumble) if not mastered.
Now some people think being able to save yourself from a ringout is unnatural and overpowered, and to that my counterpoint is that simply sending to your opponent will seal the deal. Sure, if you're far away, your followup may not reach in time but that's a part of the game, and tbh discs could do it too, you just have to time it right.
Now we get to the sad part, the real major issue with arm tech cause all the rest just leads to cool tech. Some people may not have access to all this cool stuff cause they get dizzy from smooth turn or have stick drift or other reason for not being able to use smooth turn.
Now there's no way it doesn't get patched unless it for some reason messes up the entire rest of the game, which I doubt. All we can hope for is for the patch to come as late as possible so we can discover all the tech first...
Sorry for the long ahh and probably confusing yap
...
And now to actually continue on my school project instead of getting distracted with rumble yet again.

I agree that this should be patched, because although it enables some interesting, tech it depends on the smooth turn setting, which not everyone wants to / can use.
