Incosistent lever and slider interaction
F
Faecous
The levers and sliders are extremely fickle. Due to the fact that I have to wait for my hand to "lock on" to the lever, it's really difficult to consistently pull them. If my hand detaches from the lever, I have to fiddle around with it for what feels like an eternity (around 3 seconds) before it'll reattach. And even then, the required movement has such small margins that it feels like I'm playing a wire loop game. (see notes)
The buttons are fine though, no complaints about those.
notes:
A wire loop game is a game which involves guiding a metal loop (a 'probe') along a serpentine length of wire without touching the loop to the wire.

I noticed with Howard you have to wait for the little start-up animation to end before you can grab or pull the levers.

Levers and the buttons you pull from side to side for things like matchmaking Howard and the settings menu feel clunky to use.

Most importantly, add a consolidated menu to avoid having to walk around so much to get to a desired menu screen! 2D menus are still best for VR!

I would like to say when working with the Howard level selector, if you let go at a new level, you'll have to wait till he finishes "powering up" before changing it again. Same wait with the start lever as well I believe.

If trigger (or slider) is pressed before a lever is grabbed, it will not grab the lever. So completely release buttons and then get try to grab again and it helps

agree, the levers are basically impossible to pull correctly on first attempt.
